The artist presents Aptico, a performance about being at peace with your body and identity. Drawing from the long history of artists using gold leaf to elevate their subjects, the artist guilds his own body with gold leaf to celebrate it. The artist also invites the audience to participate in the gold-plating process, to join the experience of renewal and triumph.
