(un)BOXED is a multidisciplinary art event that will take place on December 13th, 2018 at Carrozzerie | n.o.t, Rome. It comprises an evening of performance, art and workshops that aim to explore the parameters of gender norms within contemporary societies, thus inspiring reflection on the preconceptions of gender. 

 

This project is being organised as part of the Arts Management Master course held at Istituto Europeo di Design. The management team working towards the realisation of the event comes from across the globe and represents a variety of cultural backgrounds.

Following the success of This Must Be Us, an exhibition in collaboration with Palazzo Strozzi in Florence, the young professionals brings distinct experience and international network to (un)BOXED. Our mission is to give opportunity to emerging artists to gain visibility and provide them a place to showcase their works.
